It is highly likely that this will be extended once funding has been secured. We are a ‘good’ school and are immensely proud of our happy, thriving junior school where the focus is always on supporting the children to be the absolute best that they can be. Social development is given equal importance to academic success. We are ambitious for all to develop a love of learning and be skilled and ready to join KS3 when they leave us.

Having a fantastic team around the children ensures that we reach our goals. We are looking for a positive, calm, flexible individual to join us.  We see the role of Learning Support Assistants as essential to children’s learning and therefore require a passionate, skilled, and professional person to take on this key role. Good English and maths skills are essential to support our learners make progress. Recent experience in a primary school and working with children is desirable but not essential.

Salary: Grade 3 - Point 3, £14’881 FTE* (April 2023 pay figures)
(*this salary is reflective of the part time nature of this role being term time only 38 weeks + 5.8 weeks holiday pay)

Days: 5 days a week - working 8.45am to 3:00pm

The successful candidate will:

  • have a passion for working with children
