Ordinarily Available Inclusive Provision (OAIP)
Ordinarily Available Inclusive Provision (OAIP) refers to the support, adaptations, and inclusive teaching strategies that every mainstream school is expected to provide for all pupils, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), without requiring an EHCP.
OAIP is part of high-quality teaching and describes what should be routinely in place within the classroom and whole-school practice to ensure every child can access the curriculum effectively.
Adjustments and strategies we can put in place are set out by subject in the documents below. These have been created by SENDCOs in the local area.
