Religious Education
Our RE curriculum is based around the following:
- Our children will develop knowledge and understanding for Christianity and the other principal religions represented in the United Kingdom.
- Our children will be able to ask and answer challenging questions about religious beliefs and practices.
- Our children will use their knowledge of different faiths and religious festivals as well as their own beliefs, values and experiences to give an informed personal response to what they have learnt.
- Our children will develop positive attitudes of respect and tolerance towards other people who hold views and beliefs different from their own.
- Our children will know how religion has shaped and influenced culture in the United Kingdom and the wider world.
